Contact the Studio About Guitar Lessons
Tell us your level, the styles you want to play, and roughly when you can practise. A teacher reads every message and answers with honest guidance on format, availability, and next steps. Lesson fees are not listed here — they are discussed directly once we know what you need.
The enquiry form
The fastest route to a reply
The more concrete your message, the more useful our answer will be.
Include your level, whether you are interested in acoustic, electric, classical, or bass, and which days usually work for you. If you are a complete beginner, say so plainly — there is nothing to prove. If you are returning to the guitar after years away, mention roughly how long it has been.
What happens next
Your message goes to the studio, not a booking system
A teacher reads it, then responds during the working week with guidance on whether the format fits your goal and what slots are open.
Step one
We read your level, styles, and availability
Roughly a day or two in the working week
Step two
You get an honest answer on fit and slots
Sometimes that means suggesting online lessons, or a different teacher
Step three
You decide whether to go ahead
If it is not a good match, we will say so honestly
Two ways to learn with us
Face-to-face in London, or live online across the UK
Face-to-face
London and Westminster
Sessions run in central London, with Westminster as the core area.
Evenings and Saturdays are the most requested and fill first. Midweek daytime slots are usually easier to arrange. If you are travelling from a specific borough, mention it in the form — the right slot depends on your realistic commute. Booking a regular time for a term helps hold it.
Live online
Anywhere in the UK
One-to-one over a video call, with no specialist software to install.
Learners in Manchester, Edinburgh, Brighton, and smaller towns get the same tuition as anyone in London. You need a guitar, a device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet space. Several students mix online and in-person lessons depending on their month, and the lesson plan continues across both.
Availability and scheduling
Slots are arranged around your actual week
We build the timetable from what you can realistically keep, not from a fixed list. Flexibility on the day usually gets a better match with the right teacher for your style. If work travel is heavy, fortnightly sessions with more practice in between often work better than a weekly slot you keep cancelling. Tell us honestly how often you can commit — a rhythm you can keep beats an ambitious one you cannot.
Fees and what is discussed when
Fees are not published on this site because they depend on the session length, the format, and how often you want to play. Once we understand what you need, we will set them out clearly before anything is booked. Nothing is charged for the initial enquiry. If the numbers do not work for you, that is a perfectly reasonable outcome, and you will not be chased.

Questions we are asked most
Short answers, so your enquiry can get straight to the useful part.
Do I need my own guitar to start?
For online lessons you will need one to play on, and for face-to-face sessions it helps to practise between visits. If you are still choosing an instrument, say so in the form and we will talk through what suits the styles you want to play before you buy anything.
How long before I hear back?
A teacher reads every message and replies during the working week, Monday to Friday. If your enquiry arrives at the weekend it will be picked up on the next working day. Nothing is automated — the reply comes from the person who would be teaching you.
Can I ask about lesson fees before committing?
Yes, and it is one of the first things we will set out. Fees are not listed on this site because they depend on the session length, the format, and how often you want to play. Once we know what you need, we explain them clearly before anything is booked, and nothing is charged for the initial enquiry.
What if I am not sure which format suits me?
Leave the format question open in the form and describe your week instead. Online lessons often suit people with irregular travel, while a regular face-to-face slot gives some learners the structure they want. We will suggest the format that fits your goal rather than the one that fills a gap.
Is it worth enquiring if I am starting from zero?
Especially then. Complete beginners are a large part of what we teach, and the first conversation is about what you want to play rather than what you already know. Say plainly that you are starting from scratch and mention any songs or artists that made you want to learn.
